❖ Role Overview: GTM Engineer B2B SaaS
This is not a traditional demand generation or marketing role. As the GTM Engineer, you will own the infrastructure powering the company’s go-to-market strategy. You’ll define target accounts, identify buying signals, enrich and structure data, and trigger timely actions to drive pipeline generation. Your work will sit at the intersection of growth, RevOps, and data engineering, making you the architect of scalable outbound systems and account-based workflows.
❖ Key Responsibilities
- Develop TAM mapping and targeting strategies, building ICP models, account scoring, segmentation, and tiering to focus on high-fit, high-intent accounts
- Build systems for signal detection and intent monitoring, operationalizing triggers like job changes, hiring patterns, and website activity into actionable GTM motions
- Design and implement account-based GTM infrastructure, including enrichment pipelines, trigger-based prospecting, and lifecycle automations for a sales-led model
- Create scalable outbound and pipeline generation systems using tools like HubSpot, Clay, Salesforce, Apollo, and Clearbit
- Develop tiered GTM workflows for personalized engagement with Tier 1 accounts and efficient automation for broader outreach
- Own the outbound infrastructure, from account research and enrichment waterfalls to sequencing and workflow automation
- Build full-funnel lifecycle automation connecting signals, account stages, outreach, and follow-up across marketing and sales
- Evaluate, implement, and optimize the GTM tech stack, ensuring seamless integration and high data integrity
- Maintain data quality through enrichment logic, deduplication, sync architecture, and system hygiene
- Run experiments and performance analytics to identify which signals and workflows drive qualified pipeline
- Establish cross-functional feedback loops with sales, marketing, and RevOps to continuously refine targeting, scoring, and messaging
❖ About You
- 3–6 years in growth, GTM systems, RevOps, or similar roles in B2B SaaS
- Proven experience building GTM systems from scratch
- Deep understanding of sales-led growth and pipeline mechanics
- Systems-first mindset, thinking in workflows rather than campaigns
- AI-native, leveraging tools like Claude, Clay, and ChatGPT in daily work
- Highly data fluent, comfortable with enrichment, scoring, and experimentation
- Technically adept, able to build complex systems independently
- Commercially sharp, understanding how your work impacts revenue
- Fast, iterative, and results-driven
❖ Preferred Experience
- Built enrichment pipelines, scoring models, and outbound systems
- Hands-on with cold outbound HubSpot Clay, Salesforce, Apollo, Clearbit
- Designed workflows that convert buying signals into pipeline
- Run structured experiments to improve conversion rates
- RevOps experience or deep knowledge of revenue systems
- Familiarity with APIs, integrations, automation tools, and ability to write SQL, Python, or JavaScript
- Experience selling into enterprise or finance personas
