❖ The GTM Engineer Opportunity
As a founding GTM Engineer at Hazel, you’ll design and build the foundational systems that power our go-to-market strategy. You’ll work closely with sales, marketing, product, and data teams to turn GTM strategy into automated systems that generate pipeline, accelerate deals, and surface actionable insights. This hybrid role is based in our San Francisco FiDi office, with four in-office days per week.
❖ What You’ll Do
- Architect and own Hazel’s GTM tech stack, including CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce), marketing automation, data enrichment, and outbound sequencing tools
- Build automated workflows and AI-powered systems for lead scoring, lifecycle marketing, outbound prospecting, and account-based motions
- Write production-quality code in Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript to connect data sources, automate enrichment pipelines, and extend CRM capabilities via APIs
- Instrument the full sales funnel to provide actionable insights and revenue attribution
- Partner cross-functionally to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions and own delivery end-to-end
- Maintain a clean, reliable data foundation in our revenue data warehouse (Snowflake, BigQuery, or Databricks)
- Evaluate and implement AI tools (Clay, Apollo, Instantly, LLM-based GTM tools) to boost rep productivity and pipeline quality
- Automate repetitive GTM tasks to reduce manual operations overhead
- Serve as technical support for Account Executives on sales calls
❖ What You’ll Bring
- 2-4 years of experience as a Product or GTM Engineer in high-growth SaaS or fintech
- Strong coding skills in Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript for integrations, automation workflows, and data pipelines
- Experience building or prototyping AI-powered workflows using LLM APIs (Claude, OpenClaw, OpenAI, Anthropic)
- Hands-on expertise with CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce), marketing automation, and sales engagement tools (Outreach, Salesloft, Apollo)
- Advanced SQL skills and experience with data warehouses for revenue dashboards and funnel analytics
- Familiarity with data enrichment and orchestration tools (Clay, Clearbit, ZoomInfo)
- Systems-thinking approach to designing scalable GTM architecture
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills
- Comfort with ambiguity, fast-paced environments, and iterative problem-solving
❖ Bonus Points
- Experience building GTM systems for AI-native products or early-stage startups
- Background in data engineering or analytics engineering (dbt, Fivetran, Segment)
- Experience as an early technical hire on a GTM team

- Target compensation range: $200,000–$225,000, with final offer based on experience and qualifications
