❖ About the Go-to-Market Engineer Role
As a Go-to-Market Engineer at (spark), you’ll be the architect behind our martech stack, integrations, AI workflows, and analytics. You’ll empower our teams to move faster, work smarter, and connect every campaign to pipeline and revenue. This hands-on role is perfect for someone who loves connecting systems, automating workflows, and delivering actionable insights.
❖ What You’ll Do
- Own, administer, and integrate core tools across CRM, marketing automation, enrichment, outreach, and reporting platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo, Klaviyo, and more)
- Connect systems using APIs, webhooks, and automation tools like Zapier, Make, or n8n to ensure seamless data flow
- Design and maintain data pipelines for lead, campaign, and revenue data, creating a single source of truth
- Build and optimize lead scoring, enrichment, routing, and automation logic for effective follow-up
- Develop internal AI workflows and agents to support research, list building, content drafting, personalization, and reporting
- Rapidly prototype AI-assisted tools, test their value, and scale successful solutions
- Apply sound judgment to automation, balancing efficiency with quality and human oversight
- Build and maintain dashboards tracking funnel performance from first touch to revenue
- Set up tracking, UTM conventions, attribution models, and reporting processes
- Automate recurring reporting for greater accuracy and efficiency
- Surface insights and recommendations to help teams and clients focus on what works
- Document systems and workflows clearly for scalability across accounts
❖ What You’ll Bring
- 3+ years in go-to-market engineering, marketing operations, revenue operations, growth engineering, or similar roles
- Hands-on experience with at least one CRM and one marketing automation platform (HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo, Klaviyo, etc.)
- Proficiency with APIs, webhooks, and no-code/low-code automation tools (Zapier, Make, n8n)
- Practical scripting skills (SQL, Python, or JavaScript) to transform data and connect systems
- Experience building with AI tools and understanding where automation adds value
- Strong analytical instincts and comfort with spreadsheets, dashboards, BI tools, and complex data sets
- Ability to translate complex systems into clear, actionable insights for marketing, sales, and leadership teams
- Excellent documentation habits, attention to detail, and follow-through
- A bias for shipping, testing, learning, and continuous improvement
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams
❖ Bonus Points
- Agency or multi-client experience, managing multiple tool instances and reporting across accounts
- Experience with data warehouses and BI tools (BigQuery, Snowflake, Looker)
- Experience building or orchestrating LLM agents, including prompt chaining and retrieval
- Background in outbound systems, lead enrichment, deliverability, or campaign operations
- Exposure to paid media, web analytics, or performance marketing platforms
