About the Role

Join Pogo as our first GTM Engineer and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of AI-powered revenue systems for B2B SaaS. If you thrive at the intersection of engineering, growth, and sales—and want to build tools that directly impact pipeline and conversion—this is your opportunity to make a real difference. ❖ About the GTM Engineer Role As the inaugural GTM Engineer at Pogo, you’ll collaborate closely with Growth, Sales, Design, and Engineering to develop and operate AI-driven workflows that accelerate our enterprise SaaS growth. You’ll ship code that powers our go-to-market (GTM) strategy, optimize our tech stack, and transform manual processes into scalable, automated solutions. Key responsibilities include: - Designing and deploying AI-powered workflows to drive sales and growth as a competitive advantage - Auditing and enhancing our GTM stack (including tools like HubSpot, Clay, Apollo, Gong, Outreach, and Salesforce) to eliminate gaps and redundancies - Embedding with sales and growth teams to systematize their most effective strategies - Building internal tools and AI agents for lead routing, enrichment, outbound personalization, account research, content distribution, and attribution - Deciding when to leverage off-the-shelf solutions versus building custom tools - Collaborating with engineering and design to test, iterate, and refine new features using our own AI capabilities - Publishing playbooks and guides to ensure best practices are shared across the organization ❖ About You - 2-5 years of professional software engineering experience, with hands-on work in GTM, growth, or revenue systems - Proficient with AI tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex, and experienced in shipping production-ready solutions - Skilled in building with LLMs and AI agents (RAG, evals, tool use, prompt engineering) - Deep familiarity with the modern GTM stack—comfortable with APIs, webhooks, and integrations across platforms like HubSpot, Clay, Apollo, and Salesforce - Strong product and design sensibility; you build internal tools that are as polished as customer-facing products - Systems thinker who excels at automating complex operational challenges - Commercially minded, able to identify leverage points in sales calls or growth dashboards - Clear communicator with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, especially in ambiguous situations - Experience building and maintaining production systems for real users (internal or external) - Bonus: Background in early-stage startups, RevOps, Marketing Ops, or Sales Engineering; proven track record of shipping AI agents that impact revenue ❖ Why Pogo Stands Out - Directly impact key business metrics—pipeline, conversion, and retention—by shipping real systems used daily - Collaborate at the heart of the company, working cross-functionally with Growth, Sales, Design, and Engineering - Leverage the latest AI and GTM technologies, from LLMs to advanced sales platforms - Move fast and iterate weekly, receiving rapid feedback from teams using your solutions - Define and shape the GTM Engineer function as Pogo scales ❖ What to Expect - Fast-paced, dynamic environment where priorities can shift quickly and ambiguity is common - Emphasis on "Calculated Speed"—you’ll often build and ship solutions in days, not months - Minimal management layers; autonomy and self-direction are essential - Expectation of commitment beyond standard hours, balanced by flexible scheduling and a strong culture of recharging, including unlimited PTO and a minimum 20-day vacation policy Ready to build the future of GTM engineering in B2B SaaS?
