GTM Engineer
About the Role
Join Pogo as our first GTM Engineer and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of AI-powered revenue systems for B2B SaaS. If you thrive at the intersection of engineering, growth, and sales—and want to build tools that directly impact pipeline and conversion—this is your opportunity to make a real difference.
❖ About the GTM Engineer Role
As the founding GTM Engineer at Pogo, you’ll collaborate closely with Growth, Sales, Design, and Engineering to develop and operate AI-driven workflows that accelerate our go-to-market strategy. You’ll work hands-on with our enterprise AI SaaS platform, building systems that automate and optimize lead routing, outbound personalization, account research, and more. Your work will directly drive revenue growth and operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and shipping AI-powered workflows that scale sales and growth efforts
- Auditing our GTM tech stack (HubSpot, Clay, Salesforce, Apollo, Gong, Outreach, and more) to identify gaps and deliver rapid improvements
- Embedding with sales and growth teams to systematize their best practices
- Building internal tools and AI agents to replace manual processes across the GTM funnel
- Deciding when to leverage off-the-shelf solutions versus building custom tools
- Collaborating with engineering and design to test, iterate, and refine new features
- Publishing internal playbooks and guides to share learnings across the team
❖ About You
- 2-5 years of professional software engineering experience, with direct exposure to GTM, growth, or revenue systems
- Proficient with AI tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex, and experienced in shipping production-ready solutions
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, AI agents, prompt engineering, and tools like RAG and evals
- Deep familiarity with the modern GTM stack (Clay, HubSpot, Salesforce, Apollo, Cargo, Gong, Outreach/Instantly) and strong API/integration skills
- Strong product and design sensibility—your internal tools are as polished as customer-facing products
- Systems thinker who enjoys turning complex operational challenges into automated solutions
- Commercially minded, able to spot leverage points in sales calls or growth dashboards
- Clear communicator across technical and non-technical audiences, especially in ambiguous situations
- Experience building and maintaining production systems for real users (internal or external)
- Bonus: Early-stage startup experience, shipped AI agents that impacted revenue, or a background in RevOps, Marketing Ops, or Sales Engineering
❖ Why Pogo Stands Out
- Build and ship real systems that drive measurable results in pipeline, conversion, and retention
- Work at the center of the company, partnering with Growth, Sales, Design, and Engineering
- Leverage the latest AI and GTM technologies in a fast-paced, feedback-driven environment
- Shape the GTM Engineer function at Pogo as we scale, with the autonomy to make a lasting impact

- Minimal management overhead—ideal for self-starters who thrive with autonomy
