Engineering Full-time
GTM Engineer
About the Role
Join Pogo as our first GTM Engineer and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of AI-powered revenue systems for B2B SaaS. If you thrive at the intersection of engineering, growth, and sales, and want to build tools that directly impact pipeline and conversion, this is your opportunity to make a real difference.
❖ About the GTM Engineer Role
As the inaugural GTM Engineer at Pogo, you’ll collaborate closely with Growth, Sales, Design, and Engineering to develop and operate AI-driven workflows that accelerate our enterprise SaaS growth. You’ll ship code that powers our go-to-market strategy, optimize our GTM stack, and transform manual processes into scalable, automated solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and deploying AI-powered workflows to drive sales and growth efficiency
- Auditing and enhancing our GTM stack (HubSpot, Clay, Salesforce, Apollo, Gong, Outreach, and more)
- Embedding with sales and growth teams to systematize best practices
- Building internal tools for lead routing, enrichment, outbound personalization, account research, content distribution, and attribution
- Deciding when to leverage off-the-shelf tools versus building custom solutions
- Collaborating with engineering and design to test and refine new features, using our own AI capabilities for GTM use cases
- Publishing playbooks and guides to share successful strategies across the team
❖ About You
- 2-5 years of professional software engineering experience, with hands-on work in GTM, growth, or revenue systems
- Proficient with AI tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex, and experienced in shipping production-ready AI solutions
- Skilled in building with LLMs and AI agents (RAG, evals, tool use, prompt engineering)
- Deep familiarity with the modern GTM stack (Clay, HubSpot, Salesforce, Apollo, Cargo, Gong, Outreach/Instantly) and fluent in APIs, webhooks, and integrations
- Strong product and design sensibility—your internal tools are as polished as customer-facing products
- Systems thinker who excels at automating complex operational challenges
- Commercially minded, able to identify leverage points from sales calls or growth dashboards
- Clear communicator across technical and non-technical audiences, especially in ambiguous situations
- Experience building and maintaining production systems for real users
Bonus points for:
- Early-stage startup experience or building your own products
- Proven impact on revenue metrics through shipped AI agents
- Background in RevOps, Marketing Ops, or Sales Engineering
❖ Why Pogo Stands Out
- Directly ship systems that drive measurable results in pipeline, conversion, and retention
- Work at the center of the company, partnering with Growth, Sales, Design, and Engineering
- Build with the latest AI, LLMs, and GTM platforms in a fast-paced, feedback-driven environment
- Shape the GTM Engineer function as we scale, with the autonomy to make a lasting impact
❖ What to Expect
- Rapidly shifting priorities and a culture of experimentation—adaptability is key
- Fast iteration cycles: ship weekly, not monthly, and see your work in action quickly
- Minimal management layers—self-starters thrive here
- Expect to go beyond a standard 9-to-5, but enjoy flexible scheduling and a strong commitment to work-life balance, including unlimited PTO and a minimum 20-day vacation policy
