About the Role

Join Pogo as our first GTM Engineer and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of AI-powered revenue systems for B2B SaaS. If you thrive at the intersection of engineering, growth, and sales—and want to build tools that directly impact pipeline and conversion—this is your opportunity to make a real difference. ❖ About the GTM Engineer Role As the founding GTM Engineer at Pogo, you’ll collaborate closely with Growth, Sales, Design, and Engineering to develop and operate AI-driven workflows that accelerate our go-to-market strategy. You’ll work hands-on with our enterprise AI SaaS platform, building internal tools and automations that streamline lead routing, outbound personalization, account research, and more. Your work will directly drive revenue growth and operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include: - Designing and shipping AI-powered workflows that give our sales and growth teams a competitive edge - Auditing our GTM tech stack (HubSpot, Clay, Apollo, Gong, Outreach, and others) to identify gaps and rapidly deliver solutions - Embedding with commercial teams to systematize their best practices into scalable processes - Building and integrating internal tools and AI agents to automate manual workflows - Deciding when to leverage off-the-shelf solutions versus building custom tools - Collaborating with engineering and design to test, iterate, and refine new features for GTM use cases - Publishing internal playbooks and guides to share learnings across the organization ❖ About You - 2-5 years of professional software engineering experience, with direct exposure to GTM, growth, or revenue systems - Proficient with AI tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex, and experienced in shipping production-ready solutions - Hands-on experience with LLMs, AI agents, prompt engineering, and tools such as RAG and evals - Deep familiarity with the modern GTM stack: Clay, HubSpot, Salesforce, Apollo, Cargo, Gong, Outreach, and related APIs and integrations - Strong product and design sensibility—your internal tools are as polished as customer-facing products - Systems thinker who excels at transforming complex operational challenges into automated solutions - Commercially minded, able to spot leverage points in sales calls or growth dashboards - Clear communicator across technical and non-technical teams, especially in ambiguous situations - Experience building and maintaining production systems for real users (internal or external) - Bonus: Early-stage startup experience, background in RevOps, Marketing Ops, or Sales Engineering, or a track record of shipping AI agents that drive revenue metrics ❖ Why Pogo Stands Out - Build and ship real systems that directly impact pipeline, conversion, and retention - Work at the center of the company, partnering with Growth, Sales, Design, and Engineering - Leverage the latest AI and GTM technologies, including LLMs and advanced coding tools - Move fast—ship weekly, iterate quickly, and see your work in action immediately - As the first GTM Engineer, you’ll define and shape this function as Pogo scales ❖ What to Expect - Fast-paced, dynamic environment where priorities can shift quickly based on data and user feedback - Emphasis on "Calculated Speed"—you’ll often build and ship solutions in days, not months - Minimal management layers—autonomy and self-direction are key - Expectation of commitment beyond standard hours, balanced by flexible scheduling and a strong culture of recharging, including unlimited PTO and a minimum 20-day vacation policy Ready to shape the future of GTM engineering at a high-growth AI SaaS company?
