❖ About the Lead GTM Engineer Role
As Lead GTM Engineer, you’ll own the technical architecture and strategic direction of our entire go-to-market stack. This is not a traditional CRM admin role; you’ll design and implement data flows, integration logic, enrichment workflows, and automation that connect signals to pipeline and revenue. Reporting to the VP of Revenue Operations, you’ll collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and Data Analytics, making architectural decisions that shape BrainPOP’s growth.
You’ll leverage AI-powered development tools and partner with a skilled Salesforce admin team to execute your vision. This is a high-impact, individual contributor role for a builder-thinker who thrives at the intersection of Revenue Operations, data strategy, and GTM execution.
❖ Key Responsibilities
- Architect and own the integration strategy across our GTM stack: Salesforce (Sales, Marketing, Service Cloud), Celigio iPaaS, Tableau, Gong, Starbridge.ai, HockeyStack, NetSuite, Mandrill, Appcues, and more
- Consolidate and optimize revenue technology tools, ensuring seamless data flow and eliminating redundancies
- Make informed build-vs-buy decisions, evaluating new tools for integration complexity and data hygiene
- Maintain a clear, accessible integration map for all stakeholders
- Manage technical roadmaps for RevOps and Salesforce development, prioritizing initiatives for business impact
- Partner with external vendors and consultants, leveraging AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, etc.) to implement integrations and automations
- Design, develop, and implement scalable Salesforce solutions, including custom objects, flows, Apex classes, and data models
- Lead full project lifecycles from requirements gathering to go-live
- Translate complex business requirements into actionable technical specifications
- Ensure data integrity and security across the Salesforce ecosystem
- Design automation and workflow logic, including SF Flow automations, Gong Engage sequences, and product-triggered email logic
- Collaborate with Data Analytics to design customer health score models and connect them to GTM playbooks
- Maintain attribution models and enrichment pipelines to drive actionable insights

❖ Qualifications
- 6+ years in revenue technology, GTM operations, or technical business operations, with proven ownership of GTM systems architecture
- Advanced Salesforce expertise: custom objects, flows, Apex classes, data model design
- Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud; CPQ experience a plus
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce integration patterns, APIs, and iPaaS tools (Celigio, Workato, Boomi, n8n, or similar)
- SQL proficiency; Python or JavaScript familiarity is a plus
- Experience with AI-powered development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, etc.)
- Excellent project management and communication skills
- Bonus: Familiarity with Gong, Starbridge.ai, HockeyStack, Clay, customer health score architecture, edtech/K-12 SaaS, reverse ETL, dbt, Salesforce certifications, and vendor management
❖ Location & Compensation
BrainPOP offers a flexible hybrid work environment with roles based at our NYC headquarters or remote in approved states (AZ, CA, CT, FL, GA, IL, MA, MN, MO, NJ, NY, NC, OH, OR, PA, TN, TX, WA). Eastern time zone preferred; quarterly travel to NYC HQ expected.
We offer geo-neutral compensation within the US, with a salary range of $130,000—$145,000 USD, plus competitive benefits. Final offers reflect experience, skills, and internal equity.
