About the Role

Join Pogo as our first GTM Engineer and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of AI-powered revenue systems for B2B SaaS. If you thrive at the intersection of software engineering, growth, and sales, and want to build tools that directly impact pipeline and conversion, this is your opportunity to make a real difference. ❖ About the GTM Engineer Role As the founding GTM Engineer at Pogo, you’ll collaborate closely with Growth, Sales, Design, and Engineering to develop and operate AI-driven workflows that accelerate our enterprise SaaS growth. You’ll ship code that powers our go-to-market strategy, optimize our GTM stack, and transform manual processes into scalable, automated systems. Key responsibilities include: - Designing and deploying AI-powered workflows to drive sales and growth efficiency - Auditing and enhancing our GTM stack (HubSpot, Clay, Apollo, Salesforce, Gong, Outreach, and more) - Embedding with sales and growth teams to systematize best practices - Building internal tools for lead routing, enrichment, outbound personalization, account research, content distribution, and attribution - Deciding when to leverage off-the-shelf solutions versus building custom tools - Collaborating with engineering and design to test, iterate, and refine new features - Publishing internal playbooks and guides to share learnings across the team ❖ About You - 2-5 years of professional software engineering experience, with hands-on work in GTM, growth, or revenue systems - Proficient with AI tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex, and experienced in building with LLMs and AI agents (RAG, prompt engineering, tool use) - Deep familiarity with the modern GTM stack (Clay, HubSpot, Salesforce, Apollo, Cargo, Gong, Outreach/Instantly) and skilled in APIs, webhooks, and integrations - Strong product and design sensibility—your internal tools are as polished as customer-facing products - Systems thinker who enjoys automating complex operational challenges - Commercially minded, able to spot leverage in sales calls or growth dashboards - Clear communicator across technical and non-technical teams, especially in ambiguous situations - Experience building and maintaining production systems for real users (internal or external) - Bonus: Early-stage startup experience, shipped AI agents that impacted revenue, or a background in RevOps, Marketing Ops, or Sales Engineering ❖ Why Pogo Stands Out - Directly ship systems that drive measurable results in pipeline, conversion, and retention - Work at the center of the company, partnering with Growth, Sales, Design, and Engineering - Build with the latest AI coding tools, LLMs, and GTM platforms in a fast-paced, feedback-driven environment - Shape the GTM Engineer function at Pogo as we scale, with the autonomy to make a lasting impact ❖ What to Expect - Rapidly shifting priorities and a culture of experimentation—be ready to tackle ambiguous problems and pivot based on data and user feedback - Fast iteration cycles—expect to build and ship weekly, not monthly - Minimal management overhead—ideal for self-starters who thrive with autonomy - Flexible work schedule with an expectation of high impact, plus unlimited PTO and a minimum 20-day vacation policy to recharge Ready to define what it means to be a GTM Engineer in B2B SaaS and build AI-powered systems that move real numbers?
