GTM Engineer

About the role The GTM Engineer supports the development and scaling of the RedBlack’s go-to-market engine through automation, systems integration, AI applications, data management, and analytics. They partner with sales, marketing, customer success, product management, and other go-to-market teams to improve efficiency, enable growth, and ensure tools and processes work seamlessly across the customer lifecycle. This entry-level role focuses on building foundational technical skills while driving meaningful impact through automation and process improvement across the revenue organization. You are the right person for this role if you: Enjoy building and automating workflows rather than doing repetitive manual tasks Are naturally curious about how systems connect and how data flows between tools You are a proactive self-starter and likes solving ambiguous problems independently Are comfortable learning new tools quickly and experimenting with them, including agentic AI platforms Have a strong attention to detail, especially with data accuracy and process design Can gather requirements and explain your findings to both technical and non-technical audiences Thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced, cross-functional environment What you'll do Build automated workflows across the GTM stack (CRM, marketing , support and product tools) Support the RevOps Manager with ongoing projects, initiatives, and strategy, using Agile methodologies Partner with cross-functional teams to test, implement, and optimize go-to-market processes Integrate systems using low-code tools and basic API concepts Assist in maintaining CRM structure, data quality, and system hygiene Document workflows, system architecture, and automation logic to improve reporting consistency Support lead lifecycle processes including routing, enrichment, scoring, and handoffs Troubleshoot system issues and data inconsistencies across platforms What success looks like Manual processes and execution duration are reduced through scalable automation and workflows Lead routing, data enrichment, and lifecycle processes run reliably and accurately GTM teams trust and adopt the systems you support Data quality improves, resulting in more reliable reporting and decision-making New tools and integrations are implemented efficiently with minimal disruption You proactively identify inefficiencies, suggesting creative improvements to streamline processes Experiments and process changes can be launched quickly due to strong system foundations You continuously improve your technical skillset, learning new methods, systems, and scripting languages Qualifications 0–2 years of experience in business operations, finance, technology, analytics, or related fields Bachelor’s degree preferred in Information Systems, Computer Science or another technical degree Intermediate coding knowledge (Python, JavaScript) Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and GTM tools (Apollo, Gong, Clay, etc.) a plus Exposure to automation tools (e.g., n8n, Make) or scripting concepts Foundational understanding of data concepts (SQL, APIs, data structures and models) Demonstrate AI fluency by regularly using AI tools to manage data, generate code, summarize insights, generate new automation workflows, and show eagerness to stay up to date on emerging AI capabilities Hands-on experience with querying and transforming large datasets and building reports/dashboards with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) Strong communication, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills Eagerness to build and learn new systems, tools, and business processes using creativity and imagination Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively in a team environment U.S. Equal Opportunity Employment Information Individuals seeking employment at RedBlack are considered without regards to race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, marital status, ancestry, physical or mental disability, veteran status, gender identity, or sexual orientation.
