ABOUT DAPTIC
Daptic is building the future of regulatory intelligence, with the mission to empower global manufacturers to navigate complex regulations seamlessly and accelerate the global launch of physical products.
With government regulations and standards becoming increasingly complex, product delays and innovation roadblocks are more common than ever. Daptic automates the identification and analysis of relevant regulations, standards, and product requirements, allowing R&D teams to focus on what they do best: creating groundbreaking products within automotive, aerospace, construction, medicine and healthcare, and beyond.
Currently, with a small focused team, we’re proud to be supporting the development of products used by over 100 million people worldwide.
We’ve secured over $22M in total funding from Canvas Ventures, IA Ventures, 8VC, and other institutional investors who believe in our vision to revolutionize product development.
THE ROLE
As a GTM Engineer at Daptic, you’ll write the software the go-to-market team runs on. This is a core engineering function inside go-to-market, with a direct line to revenue and full ownership of what ships. You build the agents, integrations, and internal tools that take repetitive work off the team, then keep building as the team hits its next constraint. Success looks like more pipeline, more trial throughput, and more customer analysis coming out of the same number of people.
You’ll work day to day with Sales, Growth, Solutions Engineering, and Revenue Operations, and directly with company leadership on where the leverage is.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Automate Trials and Demos
* Build the tooling that stands up a trial or demo environment, covering workspace configuration, user provisioning, and the topic and product setup each prospect needs.
* Automate trial health reporting so the team sees engagement, adoption, and risk every day without anyone assembling it by hand.
* Build what turns a finished trial into the conversion case, including usage analysis, survey collection, and the reporting a customer’s leadership reads.
2. Build the Agents and Internal Tools
* Build the agents and internal applications the go-to-market team runs day to day, from account research through to the analysis that goes back to a customer.
* Automate the customer deliverables that currently cost someone a day of manual work, including regulatory coverage analyses and product-to-regulation mapping.
* Own what you ship in production, including monitoring, alerting, and the habits that keep the team unblocked when something breaks.
3. Find the Next Constraint
* Sit close enough to Sales, Growth, and Solutions Engineering to see where their time goes, then pick the automation that buys back the most of it.
* Prototype fast, put the prototype in front of the people who asked for it, and retire what nobody uses.
* Carry what you learn back to Product and Engineering, where GTM tooling often runs ahead of what the platform does today.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Requirements
* 2-5+ years writing software in a go-to-market engineering, growth engineering, internal tools, or forward-deployed engineering role, or as a product engineer who worked alongside a sales team.
* Strong Python and SQL, and the ability to pick up whatever language or API a problem requires.
* Experience building against business systems through their APIs, including CRMs, email and calendar, product analytics, and data warehouses.
* Experience building with AI tools, with AI already part of how you work day to day.
* A record of putting working software in front of real users quickly and improving it from there.
* Available to work in our office in New York City at least 4 days a week.
* Open to travel (0% - 25%) as required to support business needs.
What We Value
* Comfort working without a spec or a product manager. You find the problem, scope it, and build it.
* You bring structure to unstructured problems. Given an open-ended question with no obvious frame, you build one and work from it.
* Strong attention to detail and a “110% mindset” in all tasks.
* Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights.
* Exceptional communication skills, written, verbal, and visual, for both internal and customer-facing audiences.
* Comfort managing multiple projects simultaneously, with an ability to quickly switch contexts.
* Experience thriving in unstructured environments, demonstrating adaptability and initiative.
* Proven track record of meeting and exceeding goals in a fast-paced, technical environment, such as early promotions or top-of-cohort ratings.
