❖ About the GTM Engineer Role
As the founding GTM Engineer at Pogo, you’ll collaborate closely with Growth, Sales, Design, and Engineering to develop and operate AI-driven workflows that accelerate our go-to-market strategy. You’ll work hands-on with our enterprise AI SaaS platform, building systems that automate and optimize lead routing, outbound personalization, account research, and more. Your work will directly drive revenue and scale our growth efforts.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and shipping AI-powered workflows that give Pogo a competitive edge in B2B SaaS
- Auditing our GTM stack (HubSpot, Clay, Apollo, Salesforce, Gong, Outreach, Instantly, etc.), identifying gaps, and rapidly delivering solutions
- Embedding with sales and growth teams to systematize their most effective strategies
- Building internal tools and AI agents to replace manual processes and streamline operations
- Deciding when to leverage off-the-shelf tools versus building custom solutions
- Collaborating with engineering and design to test, iterate, and refine new features for GTM use cases
- Publishing playbooks and guides to ensure best practices are shared across the team
❖ About You
- 2-5 years of professional software engineering experience, with direct exposure to GTM, growth, or revenue systems
- Proficient with AI tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex, and experienced in shipping production-ready solutions
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, AI agents, prompt engineering, RAG, and tool integrations
- Deep familiarity with the modern GTM stack (Clay, HubSpot, Salesforce, Apollo, Cargo, Gong, Outreach/Instantly) and skilled in APIs, webhooks, and integrations
- Strong product and design sensibility—your internal tools are as polished as customer-facing products
- Systems thinker who excels at turning complex operational challenges into automated solutions
- Commercially minded, able to identify leverage points in sales calls or growth dashboards
- Clear communicator across technical and non-technical audiences, especially in ambiguous situations
- Experience building and maintaining production systems for real users (internal or external)
- Bonus: Early-stage startup experience, shipped AI agents that impacted revenue, or a background in RevOps, Marketing Ops, or Sales Engineering
